Johnny P Anthony - Bass and Lead Vocals

Johnny P has been playing professionally for over 20 years now. Performing myriad styles, He has an innate ability to emulate sound and musical genre. John has played stints as far south as the West Indies and as far west as Hawaii.  Locally, probably best known for his time in the Bogus Quartet and Grapevine Road, he brings to this band his powerful, soulful voice and rock-steady bass lines. 

Greg Tower - Guitars and Vocals

Greg is a true veteran of the Boston music scene.  He has maintained a profile with some of Boston’s top bands since the early 80’s.  He has shared the stage with local and national greats such as The Mighty Sam McClain, Johnny A, The Big Blues Meanies and Ron Levy’s Wild Kingdom as well as international legends BB King, Bo Diddley and Ben E King.  Greg brings with him, his virtuoso chops, textured guitar tone and great love of fine music. 

David Brown - Guitars and Vocals

Dave has gone further and has made a bigger impact on pop music history than most of us dream of making.  He has recorded a string of 13 platinum selling albums and toured the world over with the legendary pianist and singer-songwriter Billy Joel.  In addition, he has toured and recorded with various pop music icons such as Paul McCartney, Phoebe Snow, Dr. John, Peter, Paul & Mary, Julian Lennon, Graham Parker, Bob James, Garland Jefferies and others, David Brown has become equally well-known for his performance on the 1982 album and video; "Simon and Garfunkel - The Concert in Central Park".  Aside from Dave’s incredible history, today his taste and seasoned mastery of his instrument speaks for itself. 

Dave Mattacks - Drums 

Dave Mattacks [“ DM” ] professional career started in the UK with big bands before joining the internationally acclaimed “Fairport Convention”.  In his time with “Fairport”, he recorded seven LP’s with the group [ including “ Leige & Leif “, widely considered the most influential folk rock albums of all time ] & extensively touring the UK, US, Europe, Antipodes & Japan.  Freelancing extensively throughout his tenure with “Fairport” and afterwards, DM  has become one of the world's most respected and prolific session drummers, clocking up over 300 album credits.  DM’s discography includes 5 CD’s with Paul McCartney & various CD’s / tours with – among many others – Elton John, George Harrison, Jimmy Page, Everything But The Girl, Sandy Denny, Chris Rea, XTC, Jethro Tull, Joan Armatrading, Brian Eno, Nick Drake, [“Procul Harum’s”] Gary Brooker, Peter Green, John Gorka, John Martyn, The Proclaimers, Cat Stevens & Loudon Wainwright, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Richard Thompson, Juliana Hatfield, John Jennings, Teddy Thompson, Chip Taylor & Carrie Rodriguez, Steeleye Span, Susan Tedeschi & Rosanne Cash.  We are delighted and honored to have Dave Mattacks sharing the stage with Bad Moon Rising.
